Our Auras are Desktops Full of Thoughts
The view through our own aura filters our perceptions.
Each man travels through space enclosed within in a case of his own building, surrounded by a mass of the forms created by his habitual thoughts. Through this medium he looks out upon the world, and naturally he sees everything tinged with its predominant colors, and all rates of vibration which reach him from without are more or less modified by its rate. Thus until the man learns complete control of thought and feeling, he sees nothing as it really is, since all his observations must be made through this medium, which distorts and colors everything like badly-made glass.
from Thought-Forms by Annie Besant & C. W. Leadbeater
Your mind is actually an energy field existing in and around the head and body. Thoughts and memory are stored in this field, all around you in a kind of bubble shape, around 9 feet in all directions. We discussed the shape and structure of thoughts in my last article here. Today we are going to go deeper in to this subject.
The book I quoted from above was written in 1901. It provides great detail on the form, color and structure of thoughts complete with full color illustrations. This brilliant book provides a complimentary lens on the mind and its landscape of thoughts, a subject the yogis figured out thousands of years ago. As we stand on the cusp of the fourth industrial revolution, it is a potent time to re-aquaint ourselves with our own mental anatomy. We need to know how our own bio-computers are constructed so we can interact intelligently with any other computers, and especially artificial intelligence.
As we were discussing last week, at the top of your head there is an etheric opening the yogis call a crown, that really operates like a satellite that can both send and receive data streams. These streams come in from every energy field we are connected to from the universal mind realm. The vibratory speed and positioning of our crown chakra determines the quality of thoughts being downloaded. This is great news for us all! This means if we don’t like the thoughts we are experiencing, we can do something very concrete about it.
Yes, the short answer is to meditate, and do it every day. Meditation is literally taking a mental shower. We bathe every day, not just every once and a while. We want to understand that meditation is the same thing but for our mind. You can clean the satellite dish that is downloading thoughts. Humans meditate in many different ways. Almost every activity can be a meditation. When you bring your full awareness to any moment, with the intention to connect to your higher self, that is meditation.
Of course, we do have a very fast technology called Kundalini Yoga that can give you very focused and specific ways to meditate. This is advantageous for a number of reasons. Think of it like power washing. Some times just a gentle rinse will do. Other times, and for some of us all the time, we need something a little more heavy duty. We need to feel better faster! Thats where Kundalini Yoga really shines. We will get in to more about that and specific techniques a little later.
Back to the satellite dish at the top of your head. The crown chakra has a vibratory pattern that attracts specific thought streams from the universal mind. The frequency, or speed, of the crown chakra is programmed by our daily speech and habits. There is a saying, ‘the man makes the habits and the habits make the man’. This could not be more true. We don’t seem to have control about many things in life, but we do control our daily routine. Even if we are locked in to a commitment that we feel is less than ideal, we are in control of the attitude and energy we bring to every moment of the day. These daily rhythms create a momentum of energy in our crown chakra. For example, if you are complaining regularly about life and feeling bad, this is a specific energy pattern in the aura and crown chakra. Through resonance, like attracts like, so the negative complaining program automatically aligns you to download more unfortunate events to complain about. This is simplified but you get the general idea.
In addition to the thought stream portal that is the crown chakra, you also store thoughts and memories in the auric field in and around the body. Think of yourself as a living multi-dimensional mandala of energies. Your physical body is the center of the mandala, and the energy fields of your subtle bodies exist all around you. We will get in to more later, but in addition to the physical body you have 9 other energy bodies including the 3 mental realms; negative, positive and neutral. So, we carry around the thoughtforms and memories inside this multidimensional field. This understanding of the human system is a complete paradigm shift. When we acknowledge and work with our minds with this understanding, we have so much more agency to change our experience when needed.
So given all this, we can begin to see how everything we perceive of the outside world is filtered through a complex web of thought forms. We want to meditate regularly so we can literally clean the lens we use to see the world. The phrase “rose colored glasses” takes on new meaning. We can install mental postures, such as gratitude, that literally gives everything in life a rosy hue. In many ways, we can create the experience of reality we want, no matter what the external challenges are.
We can choose to amplify positive thoughts. We do not need to dwell in the negative. We have a choice. In order to see this choice and then act on it, we need more energy in the system. Do what you know works for you. If you need an upgrade, try Kundalini Yoga. Start with mentally reciting the mantra Wahe on the inhale, and Guru on the exhale. This mantra automatically aligns you with the awe filled wonder and gratitude for life. This is a good place to start.
This is a collage piece I just made to try to give an impression about all the old hardware and software we have running. The radiance of the soul doesn’t need it anymore! Time to upgrade.

I absolutely love this. I have been practicing Kundalini Yoga since 2019. But never came across anyone who can actually explain it in such details. I am now devoted to the teachings
more than ever. Thank you!
Thank you for your thoughtful posts…I appreciate your articulation of the teachings. Sat Nam 🙏🏻
